We are a summer migrant program in Saginaw, michigan. The students are mostly at-risk hispanic children and one of the highlights of the program is the pinewood derby race.
I found your website through a Google search and it was a lucky find. We usually cut the cars ourselves, but the time was hours to finish sometimes over fifty cars. Your precut models were of high quality and cost effective. Hopefully you can keep the price down as anything near $10 for the low end models might be too much. The staff was very helpful and accommodating for our needs regarding both car styles and payment methods. The cars arrived promptly and there were no problems with quality which tells me they were probably quality inspected.

We tried wheels, axles and weights from a lot of different companies this year in Pinewood Derby. None came close to yours in the end. It was my son's first year. He and I built cars side by side. I wanted to make sure it was his that ran. He was also able to not make the errors I did. Using your products he won his pack (50+cars) easily. He then placed third in the District races. In the council race we had to race a different car (FORMAT CHANGE). Joseph placed third in a double elimination tourney with hundreds of cars. Throughout the day he raced the eventual winner 5 times. He took 2 of 5. He never lost to the second place finisher. Imagine our pride as he stood at the podium holding a 2 foot tall trophy. He was the only Tiger in the finals! We are now racing in WIRL (in the Scout off-season). We are up against some tough competition but holding our own. Not bad for a couple of rookies. It's all thanks to Pinewoodextreme.com … Thanks!
